February Fun

The children enjoyed passing out their Valentine cards today and having time during the day to open all of their cards and look at them. We have completed our History of the Earth unit in Knowledge and will begin to study animals and habitats when we return after the vacation week. In math, the students have been using centimeter cubes to measure the length of a variety of objects and then compare lengths using the greater than, less than, and equal sign. In Skills lessons we will be writing informational paragraphs to describe an animal using our senses. Students will learn about introduction sentence, body sentence and a using a closing sentence in a paragraph.
